Your mission
You and your friends awaken, embodied as captives, stranded on a mysterious island threatened by a devastating wave. To save your souls, you must collaborate and unveil the island’s haunting secrets. As you explore breathtaking landscapes, you’ll encounter strange stone creatures, climb rocky terrains, solve riddles, and activate various mechanisms. These will aid your advancement and prompt you to race to the island’s peak. Beyond the technical challenge, ASCENDERS’ myriad climbing elements serve as a robust immersion component. Beyond vast panoramas, the poetic theme of the adventure, or the ever-present contemplation, ASCENDERS lets you discover hidden inner strengths.
Gameplay
You start as slaves, subjected to a terrible fate, represented by a massive wave threatening to engulf you. As time passes, the island reveals new destructive and building powers that you hold over the rocks surrounding you. In your palms, talismans appear, responding to the mountain’s call, and the universe seems to want to guide you, granting you superhuman powers to help you escape a wretched fate. The gigantic titans, human-shaped, hidden in the mountains, might be on your side. Listen to them, consult with your comrades, help each other, and save yourselves by reaching the mountain’s peaks.
Come with friends, colleagues, or family and collaborate to traverse this dreadful adventure. You have 40 minutes to explore and cooperate before a colossal wave sends you all to death in the depths. Don’t underestimate yourselves: through unity and teamwork, you will manage to face the challenges and triumph in this grand adventure. Your fate is in your hands.
